A park to be discovered, offering infinite opportunities for excursions, exploration and sport. The secular beach trees seem to whisper as you pass through, like in an enchanted forest, while your steps set sweetly on the soft underbrush. 120km of easy, well-organized paths that run through the Karst uplands, through canyons and along the limpid waters of the eternal, high altitude rivers. Solemn formations of white limestone, eloquent witnesses to the imposing tectonic rising of the area, alternated with the emerald green of the meadows. Water, with its slow but inexorable erosive activity, is literally seized by the park, going along it in the surface but also underneath, giving life to the picturesque hypogean world of caves and underground rivers. The unique variety of this environment is ideal for numerous different types of sport activities: excursions, gliding, potholing, rafting, fishing and cross-country skiing.
