Partendo dall’Eremo delle Carceri, attraversando la sua famosa lecceta secolare, si possono raggiungere i prati sommitali da cui si possono ammirare ampie e suggestive vedute in direzione di Santa Maria degli Angeli e di tutta la parte meridionale della Valle Umbra Sud. Di notevole interesse è la salita verso la cima del monte Subasio dal versante adiacente la cittadina di Spello, percorrendo i fitti boschi di roverella, carpino e orniello.

The paths which lead to the summit of Mt. A park where the presence of man is harmonized with the environment, enriched by art and history: Spello, Nocera Umbra, Valtopina, Collepino and many other historical towns not to be missed.
