There are no imposing peaks or wild landscape, but instead docile nature that speaks of itself through each single rock, flowers, tree or stream as if St. Francis was reciting his “Canticle of Creatures”. The paths which lead to the summit of Mt. Subasio from Assisi, the grassy plains dotted by dolina Karsts, run through the spiritual lands of Franciscans, of monasteries and iles groves where nature is collected in prayer. A park where the presence of man is harmonized with the environment, enriched by art and history: Spello, Nocera Umbra, Valtopina, Collepino and many other historical towns not to be missed.
